Trick or Treating

for the first time! What a big boy! It was so strange watching him walk around with his little bucket and going trick or treating, seemed like such a big boy thing to do and my little guy was doing it! We went over to Tatum's for dinner, Josh made yummy tacos and homemade chips (thanks for making those Josh...they were so yummy!!!) and then we took the kiddos to trick or treat. I didn't think they'd be into it but surprisingly they thought it was great. They loved carrying their buckets (Kayden was not into carrying after awhile and had Tatum lug the heavy things around) and putting the candy in their buckets. They would ask people for more or just go ahead and take more and put it in the bucket. I guess the novelty was just the "getting something" even though they didn't know what they were getting. It took about an hour to go around one block but it was super fun watching them go up and down the walkways, wait at the door and get their treat. They did get scared at one house with everyone dressed up like vampires and some big kids in costume also gave them a little fright. When we got home they dumped their goods on the floor and inspected the hard nights work and the daddies started stealing the candy. Kayden had a sucker as his halloween treat, had a few licks and then was done with it. It was such a fun night w/ our little dino! And so much fun going with our new neighbors! Hmmm...now what should I make for Josh and Jaclyn...or should I have Kyle cook for them.....now that would be interesting.
