Sundays!

The face of a chocolate chip cookie lover!

The fort daddy and Kayden made

Kayden SO happy with his cool daddy

He loves this slide:-)

His car was actually in drive still and running!

One of my favorite days of the week is Sunday. We always spend Sundays as a family and today was a great Sunday. We woke up and walked to "bo-buck" or as others know it Starbucks and it was chilly!!! Yay for cooler weather! I got to get a hot mocha instead of a frap! Finally....it is already the middle of November for goodness sake. When we arrived back home to get ready for church we saw that a car was running and was bumped up against our Honda. As Kyle investigated further he saw that someone was passed out in the drivers seat. We weren't sure what to do but since they had hit our car and appeared to be drunk we decided to call the police. The young man woke up to 5 police officers at his window. Lucky for him he was sober by now but he did make a dent in our bumper so we get to have that repaired, lucky us. But the whole incident made us miss church. But other than our little hiccup we had a great day. We went to the park at Fulton ranch that Kayden loves and mommy and daddy actually love playing on the cool equipment too. The tornado slide here is his favorite and he loves when daddy slides down after him. He also loves jumping on the bridge and the teeter totter (it appears they made teeter totters safe now instead of the crazy ones we all rode on back in the day!) I wish this stuff was around when I was little! Right by the equipment are soccer fields and Kayden loves running and making a "goal" and playing chase with mommy & daddy. Running up and down the hills is also tons of fun. And today we had clouds in the sky!!! Talk about a nice change! When we got home from the park (we even got rained on on the walk home!!) mommy decided to bake chocolate chip cookies and daddy and Kayden made a fun fort. Kayden was so happy in his fort, and when mommy went in to check it out he had this look of pride and excitment in his eyes, such a cute little look I'll never forget as he walked me into his fort. Mommy even let Kayden and daddy have a chocolate chip cookie in his fort! Talk about a treat:-) I remember making forts with my brothers and we loved eating snacks or lunch in them. What a fun day we had today! Kayden definetely loves the weekends when mommy AND daddy are home and he especially loves them when we spend the time together doing fun stuff.
