I Love...

*how you snuggle into me to fall asleep for your nap
*how I'm the only one you want to see when you wake up from your nap, if daddy even looks at you you tell him no and hide, waiting for me to pick you up for your after nap cuddles
*how you wake up in the morning w/ a big smile for me and tell me "get up mommy"
*how you say "scuze me peas mommy" or "scuze me" when you want mommy or someone to move
*how you make everything into a train
*how you take care of your monkey Jax, feeding him your food, giving him drinks, swaddling him (w/ mommy's help), pushing him around in the stroller, reading him stories, taking him for rides in your cozy coupe, having him go potty when you go potty:)
*how you still have to kiss my belly everytime you see it, even after all these months you haven't gotten bored w/ the idea that your going to be a big brother
*how much you love pretend play right now, making me food, driving in your cozy coupe to "In N Out" to get burgers and fries, playing with your zoo animals and having them fight, sleep, eat, play w/ e/o, having Thomas and all your other trains do "jobs on Sodor", like taking the fuel or dairy cars so that the island has fuel and dairy:)
*how you always have to have a bite of mommy and daddy's food, even if we are eating the exact same thing, you have to have a bite of ours "bite mommy's" and you smile big when you get it. If we have popsicles out by the pool, no matter what flavor you have, mommy and daddy's flavor is always better!
*how if I pretend to cry if you "hurt" me, you get really upset and want to make me stop right away, you instantly kiss me and tell me "okay mommy" in a gentle little voice
*how mad you get at Fifi if you are walking her and she goes running for another dog and pulls you down, but then you want the leash right back even if she hurt you
*listening to you "read" your stories
*hearing you sing along to songs, or when you ask us to sing your favorite songs
*that 911 by Shorty is one of your favorite songs:)
*that when we are at the grocery store if we get one of your favorite foods you have to have it right then and mommy has to open the package before we pay for it so you can have one (cheesestick or whatever it is that day that you *must* have)
*that no matter how into a toy or game you are if I leave the room you have to come w/ me and be right under my feet or right there doing whatever I'm doing too
*that you have to help me cook, you love to stir, mix, dump, add things to whatever we are making

You are at SUCH a fun stage right now, I'm loving it all (and trying to even love the difficult moments b/c I know in a few years I'll miss each and every moment of you at 2!)
