2 year well check

Today we had your 2 year well check! I prepped you for it all morning and you didn't cry once and acted like such a big boy at the doctor's office. Mommy was so proud of you!
Dr. Salek was very impressed that your potty trained, he said he usually has mom's start thinking about introducing it sometime after 2, so he loved hearing that you wanted to do it all on your own. He said he can tell you are a very independent little man (not sure how he can tell in 15 minutes what you are but hey...it will be funny for you to read in 20 years b/c Mommy and Daddy know you are very independent!). He also couldn't believe what a talker you are and you even showed him that you know your colors all on your own w/o him asking. He had a painting on the wall of a dog w/ colored spots and you were just talking away and told us each color of spots that the doggy had, he was very surprised!
You did have one vaccine today, the polio vaccine. When we waited for the nurse to come in and give it you did great, and when you saw the needle you didn't freak out at all, you just laid there. When she poked you you said "ow" and that was it! Not one tear!!! You are such a big, brave boy!
You weigh 28 pounds which puts you in the 45%ile and you are 34 1/2 inches tall which is also right at the 45%ile. Your head continues to be full of brains as Dr. S says, 50.7cm which is the 90%ile. Your head was your biggest part when you were born too! Probably why you got stuck:)
