My little climber

Today we met our friends at Mother Nature's Farm pumpkin patch in Gilbert, AZ. When we drove into the parking lot Kayden starting clapping b/c he saw the pumpkins, for some reason this boy has developed a love for pumpkins! We went through the pumpkin patch, went on a hayride and then all the kiddos got to pick a pumpkin out to take home. Kayden had fun doing the pumpkin patch with his friends and seeing the animals again and the field of pumpkins. They had baby chicks when you walked in and he loved sticking his fingers through the little fence to try and pet them and on our way out he spotted it again and jumped out of my arms and ran to them (and shoved big kids out of his way to get to them!). After the pumpkin patch we headed to lunch at Red Robin. Kayden ate lunch and then put his head in my hand, I thought he was just being a little dramatic in telling me he was tired but he actually fell asleep!!!!!???! And stayed asleep for the rest of our meal, I carried him to the car asleep, we drove 30 minutes to get home and he slept the whole way, I carried him into his crib and he slept for about 3 hours total! So he must have been really wore out from the farm? Not sure, still in shock that he'd fall asleep that way! (once Megan sends me the pic I'll post so you will believe me...hint hint:-)
