Uncle Kurt's Visit!

Uncle Kurt came to visit Kayden with his friend Corey. They came down to see Kayden and get some golfing in on the fun, expensive courses when they are cheaper b/c Arizonians don't want to play golf when it is 110 degrees! So they golfed at Ocotillo, TPC-Scottsdale and The Duke golfcourses. Daddy got to go w/ them yesterday to the Duke course and they said it was nice but the other golfers were much older and very slow. Kayden had fun playing in the pool with the boys and having extra people to laugh at his funny ways. Friday night we all went with Brian, Montessa and Gavriel to San Tan Flat's for dinner and ate outside and listened to the band. Kayden loved running around and looking at all the fun stuff and wearing his mommy out from chasing him. He also loved dancing to the music and shaking his little bootie. The dance floor before the band started was covered w/ kids and he wanted to run in the mix of em and mommy had to jump in and rescue her baby b/c they weren't to the age where they would realize they needed to be careful of the baby. He also loved dancing on the table and running from mommy to Uncle Kurt. Saturday night we went to the baseball game, the d-backs played the Marlins and we beat them which always makes a game more fun to watch! Kayden once again found a lady in the stands to flirt with that entertained him for quite awhile. He even fell asleep towards the end of the game! One morning when Kayden and I were in bed he heard Uncle Kurt up in the bathroom so he wanted to get down and he ran to say hi and sadly noticed he had just gotten up for a potty break and wasn't up for the morning. He went to the room and was asking "where" and "more" over and over:( On Friday when he and I went to Starbucks he was enjoying chatting with the "men" at Starbucks and didn't want to leave so I said "let's go home and see Uncle Kurt and Corey" and he ran to the door to go! Darn it....now that they are gone I have to figure out how to get him to want to go home:-) Oh yes, and I can't forget, we got Uncle Kurt to go shopping! Yep, the boy that has had a gift card to the Buckle for a year or so and hasn't used it b/c he hates going to the mall........actually spent a day at the Scottsdale mall with me! He was sad though b/c I thought SFS had a Buckle store but they don't so we should have went to the Chandler mall to let him actually use his gift card.
I can tell Kayden misses his company, when he comes out of a room he runs to check if they are in the living room and seems a bit sad to realize they have left. Thanks so much for coming to see us Uncle Kurt! We had a ton of fun while you were here! Hope your first day back at college tomorrow goes great! We are so proud of you for doing so well in college and being on the Dean's list! Hope this semester goes great too!!
