14 months

At 14 months:

*You love to be outside, you go to the sliding glass door and beg to go out, makes me sad we live in the HEAT of AZ
*You give us cheesy grins that make my heart melt
*You whine a fake whine when I leave the room and you can't catch up to me fast enough
*You cry when daddy comes home on my client nights b/c you know that means mommy has to leave....my little mommy's boy;-)
*You love to walk to the mailbox and walk with such a little attitude b/c you think you are so big, and on the way is a FIRE HYDRANT!! This is the highlight of your walk to the mailbox and we always have to spend alot of time looking at it and talking about it.
*Your favorite book this month is probably Polar Bear, Polar Bear, What do you hear?
*Love your little people bus and you say "bus" over and over when we see one while we are driving (you also say bus to trucks and vans:-). You still love your pull toys, especially your pull duck and you also love your Melissa and Doug wooden stacker right now.
*Love climbing on anything and everything
*LOVE to dance to your music and you love it even more when mommy and daddy have a dance party with you (thank goodness no one has a hidden video camera in our house, they would get a huge laugh!! The things we do for our babies;-)
*You still don't like TV (mommy is NOT complaining about this one;-)
*Gets so excited when I say "wanna go to your play room?" and run down the hall
*Chooses b/t books or play using the sign and attempting the word and goes to either the playroom to play or your room to read
*You have the best belly laugh
*Point to your belly button and belly with excitement when we ask you where they are, also love making our noses honk (yes, mommy and daddy noses honk...didn't you know;-), and pointing to your ear
*You tell us you are "1" by holding up 1 finger
*Still nurse 4-5 times during the day and 1-2 times at night, and you still refuse milk. You won't even attempt to drink it now, before you would drink it and spit it out and try to scrape it off your tongue, now you see it and throw the sippy, fun times!
*You are a very picky eater, we waste a lot of food. Still loves blueberries, chicken and ground beef though!
*You love to sing songs, Itsy Bitsy spider is your favorite and you try to do the hand movements
*Your vocabulary is 25 words or more, of course not clear and you leave off the final sounds to many of the words...........
-Bus, Bird, Book, More, No, Bye, Hi, Daddy, Mommy, Mark, Grandma, dog, All done, bath, go, this, that, bush, where, duck, ball, vroom vroom, up, yeah, car
-signs=more, eat, drink, fresh diaper, baby, dog, all done, read, play, milk, want, sleep, hat, bath, no, yes
-you follow 1step commands with ease and are so proud when you complete your "task"
I'm sure I'm forgetting some but I have most of the words/signs you use often, you are a very verbal/linguistic little man baby boy! I love love love watching your language develop and you learning you can control your world through words! You get so excited when you learn a new word and realize it has meaning and that language = power!
