15 months

Giving your snuggly hugs

Running around in your new shoes and your big boy no show socks!

Another month has passed and it has been so much fun!

This month you:

*love to give kisses. You have been kissing for a long time now but this month you have decided to not be as stingy with your kisses (they used to be just for mommy and daddy if he was lucky). Now you love to kiss your friends, your toys, your animals, your books, pretty much anything you "love" gets kisses.
*have become very cuddly and huggy (not really a word;-). You love to give us hugs and cuddle up in our laps.
*have decided the bath is a new favorite. You have liked it for awhile but this month it is a huge hit and you request it by word and sign at night.
*had your first brain freeze with grandma in the car eating an all natural popsicle, you recognized it to and pointed to your head, we couldn't stop laughing;-)
*love to make us laugh, anything that gets giggles you love to repeat to try and get more out of us. The other day you bumped your head on you toy and I giggled to try and make you think it didn't hurt. Well it worked and then you decided to keep "bumping" your head and then mommy would laugh and you would laugh and it was a big laughing mess in your playroom.
*continue to be a pretty picky eater and still won't drink cow's milk. Favorite foods are still blueberries and sweet potatoe cubes are back in the mix of things you really like.
*still take 2 naps some days but have also started taking just one nap on some days. Your slowly making the transition from the 8:30am and 2:30pm nap to just one nap around 11-1:30.
*still sleep in your crib at night until your first wake up usually between 11 and 2am and then you come to bed and snuggle with mommy and daddy for the rest of the night.
*still love your num nums and have it about 4-5 times a day and 1-2 times a night.
*still love your pull duck, by far your favorite toy but you also love balloons right now, cars, little people bus and airplane and your melissa and doug puzzle with the transportation vehicles, your stacking cubes and your stacking ring are a big hit too.
*still don't like tv yet other than football with daddy
*love to play with Fifi
*love to play in the backyard with the hose
*love to go play with your friends. When I tell you we are going to go play at Tula's or Audrey's or Tatum's you start clapping and run for the door!
*love to dance to your music in the living room, in the car, in stores where ever you hear music you get your groove on! Your favorite song right now is probably "if your happy and you know it". Whenever it comes on you start clapping, you just have to hear the first little bit of the song and you start clapping.
*like itsy bitsy spider and patty cake best for finger plays
*love to show us how old you are by holding up one finger, throw your hands up in the air to show us touchdown and "how big is kayden", show us your tongue-feet-belly-ears-nose-eyes-mouth
*Receptively you know so much right now. You can point to all the animals on our finger puppet when I ask you to "find the cow" you point to the right animal for all 5! You give us the right vehicle when we ask for the "bus" or the "airplane" or whatever vehicle we want from your puzzle. You go to the right room of the house when we give you directions of where we need to go.
*You can match!! You have a search and find book grandma got you and if I ask you to find the match for the balloon or fire hydrant etc you do!!! You keep surprising me with all the things you can do right now, you never cease to amaze your mommy!
*When we read good night moon now at night you have to point to each thing we say goodnight too "goodnight kittens" and you point to the kittens, etc.
*you do throw little tantrums now and then now if you don't get your way or if your super tired but can usually be distracted pretty quickly.
*you got new shoes this month! Real ones with hard bottoms! Little pumas that are size 6!!! You have big feet like your daddy! You love your new shoes and always choose those to wear when we are going somewhere.
*you've started to like coloring more and more and make mommy little masterpieces;-)

Kayden thank you so much for a great month! You make mommy so happy and I smile and laugh all day with you. You are such a good little boy and have so much love in your little heart. Hugs and kisses little man!!
