Well we survived! Kayden had his first day of preschool and mommy was teary eyed pretty much all morning but Kayden was just super excited. He had oatmeal for breakfast and then got dressed in his cute first day of school outfit and mommy took that classic picture that everyone has in front of the front door and we loaded the car up and headed off. I dropped Breck off for the hour at a friend's house so that Kayden could have his special first day of school all to himself today.
When we got to the school we waited outside with all the other mommies and kiddos for the teachers to open the doors and then went in to his new school. Kayden in Kayden fashion was at the front of the line (hey, we were early, we had an excited boy!) so he got to meet his teacher first. Mrs. Beire is his teacher and Mrs. Groess is his teacher's assistant. They had playdough waiting for all the student's w/ their name holding their little spot at the little table.
While the kiddos had their first preschool experience all of us parents had an orientation w/ the preschool board learning all the "rules and regulations" and business of your little being in preschool.
From 9-10:15 he did his thing in the classroom and then I got to scoop him up and give him hugs when I saw him again. Still. can't. believe. this. day. is. here.
