10 months

Baby boy, I have so enjoyed learning more about you this past month. You are getting such a personality, I love how everyday you are teaching me more about you as a little person!

At 10 months you-
*get SO excited when daddy gets home from work. if I say "Daddy is here" you speed crawl to the door and bounce up and down until he comes thru the door, then you DEMAND he picks you up, you bounce your little body and flap your arms until he scoops you up. if your in your high chair eating, eating stops and you insist he gets you out to hold you. I LOVE that you have such a strong bond w/ your daddy already.
*LOVE to play hide and seek, we play w/ brother and daddy and you LOVE hiding under the covers and get sooo excited when we hear the finder coming to get us. And then you cover your head back up w/ the covers b/c you don't want to stop playing.
*LOVE to play chase, you speed crawl away from us if we are chasing you and you speed crawl towards us if we are running from you. The whole time your entire face is engulfed in an adorable smile and you belly laugh the whole time.
*Cruise along furniture and go from one piece of furniture to the next.
*can stand by yourself for short periods, you always pull up on mommy and daddy and then show your stuff and let go.
*love when we sing "if your happy and you know it", you get so excited to do the clapping part with us.
*like to do patty cake and itsy bitsy spider w/ us alot.
*love being sung to, if your upset or crying in the car all I have to do is sing and you stop (you must have funny ears b/c your mama's voice is not good! but I like that you think it is:)
*we rock you to sleep, your only little once:)
*you sleep in your crib for naps and at night until/if you wake up and then you come to bed w/ us. You take a nap in the morning and afternoon.
*love swinging, just giggle and giggle as you swing.
*love when we scare you with "boo", belly laughs every time!
*have decided you like big boy food more than baby food. as soon as you see our meal you sign "all done" if we are feeding you your baby food and demand whatever we are eating.
*wave hi and bye, do "so big", sign "all done" and understand the signs for eat, more, and bath. Say "mama" and "dadda". You are starting to understand so much now, it is so fun watching you anticipate our actions when we say we are going to do something like "I'm going to get you" and you start crawling away fast. You are a super smart little guy!
*your favorite toy is a fishing pole, you love waving it around and watching the end of the pole swing around.
*when we read you "brown bear, brown bear" you get SO excited when we get to the black sheep, you smile huge and laugh and then once we go to the next page you flip back to see the black sheep again. Love that you are telling us what you want!
*nurse on demand still. Can drink out of any sippy cup and regular straws! Seems early little guy, again, you are a smarty:)

Happy 10 months little guy. You have changed so much this past month and are becoming such a little character. We absolutely love every second we have with you and could look at your smiles and hear your giggles all day long. You fill our hearts and lives with so much joy, we are beyond blessed to be your family. Love you to the moon and back baby boy!
