One last day of fun before the heat hits!

He normally will NOT wear a hat but I told him it was hat or going home and he left it on the whole time!
So excited that the ducks were eating.

The end of our "decent" weather here in AZ is coming to an end. They said this weekend was probably our last weekend under 3 digits so we decided to get outside. We headed up to one of our favorite places in the valley-Fountain Hills, to walk around the fountain, feed the ducks, play in the splash pad and eat outside at one of the resteraunts by the lake.

Kayden was so excited to go feed the ducks, he held the bread from Albertsons on our walk home, in the house while we got ready and on the whole car ride to Fountain Hills...that is about 45 minutes alone! We went straight to the ducks and they got a feast from Kayden. He loved feeding them and would chase after them offering them bread, wondering why they were running away from him. He'd say "duck, bread, eat" and run after them. We walked around the fountain and found lots of ducks and gave them all a snack.

After our walk we asked him if he wanted to go in the splashpad, this is the first time this year so I didn't know what he'd think. After sitting in his stroller and watching for awhile he decided he would go in but refused to put his swimsuit on. So we let him splash in his clothes and put his dry swimsuit on afterwards. He loved the splashpad and his happy laugh, giggles and smiles made everyone else smile around us. I love watching how he can making other ppl happy just by his innocent little joy he has inside him, I wish we all had this forever.

Then we walked over to eat lunch and he had his favorite....pizza. After pizza he fell asleep instantly in the Tahoe with a full belly and took a nice nap.

Sure enough Sunday morning on our walk we could tell that Summer had officially hit AZ, we were so hot at 8:30am walking outside and are ready to hibernate the summer away!
