Easter

Kayden celebrated his first Easter this weekend. His grandpa and grandma Hingst were in town and we had lots of fun playing with them. Grandpa Hingst was Kayden's buddy while he was here! Kayden loved pulling on Grandpa's face and having grandpa push him around in his red car. I think he wore grandpa out though because he was in bed early every night! We painted Easter eggs Saturday evening, not much participation by Kayden this year........next year I'm sure it will be more interesting;-) He was amazed at us dunking eggs in colored water though. Sunday we went to church at St. Andrew's in the big, white tent outside. Kayden decided that even though we went to 8:30 mass he was still going to get his 9am nap in! He fell asleep in the middle of mass with all the noise and music going, mommy was shocked he can still do that. After mass Kayden go to play with grandpa and daddy and mommy started getting lunch ready. Luckily we had a honeybaked ham so the hard work was done for me! Kayden had his first asparagus and liked it! He didn't like it pureed but did like the finger pieces. After dinner he got to investigate what was in his Easter basket and had fun shaking his eggs filled with cheerios. Sunday evening he had to say goodbye to his grandparents and I could tell on Monday that he missed the extra people in the house!
