We are ready for you!

Hello daughter. Little sister. Daddy's girl. Mommy's shopping buddy. Dream come true. And so much more. You are officially "ready" to come out now whenever you decide you'd like to meet us. At your ultrasound a week ago you were guessed to be about 6 pounds, 4 ounces. They couldn't get a good picture of you b/c you were so squished in there, your hands AND feet were both covering your face. It was just body parts on body parts. It was so good to get to see you again, we hadn't gotten a glimpse since you were 20 weeks old. We are just so excited to meet you, touch you, snuggle you, smell you, look at you, and stare at you all. day. long.

Your nursery is almost ready, as soon as your big brother's furniture arrives this week we'll be able to finish it completely. Your clothes are washed. And our arms are ready to hold you.

Your big brothers ask my belly daily when you are going to come out! They are so excited to meet you and have a baby sister they can see and touch. We read books about having a baby in the house and talk about how they are going to help us with you when you arrive, bringing us diapers for you, helping us dry you off after your bath. Little sister, they can not wait!

You are named. We picked the perfect name for you and can't wait to tell everyone who our daughter is. Daddy fell in love with your name on our trip to Wisconsin this summer and hasn't let us think of naming you anything else. I loved it too, but I'm not as good at making decisions as your daddy so I'd keep thinking of other names "just in case" we weren't sure. He wouldn't have it. You had a name and it was perfect. And it is. Your name is perfect and I can't wait to call you it everyday. The first letter of your name is in honor of someone so special to me, just like you are!

So baby girl, whenever you are ready to come out and meet us we are here and waiting for you. We love you so much already and can't wait to tell you that in person.

Until then...mommy will keep walking to try and help you decide to come out and dreaming of your cute little nose!
